Smyalla is able to rapidly burst through the defensive front after identifying the proper running lane and is one of the most captivating runners in the open field when using subtle changes of speed & a nifty repertoire of finesse moves to make defenders miss. He does an excellent job at bouncing the ball to the edge of the defense with his electrifying 4.5 speed and is not afraid to lower his shoulder to power through would-be tacklers to pick up tough yards after contact. Adrian is also very adept in pass protection and is able to create a low base to gain leverage with excellent hand placement, while keeping quick and choppy feet to mirror much larger pass rushers. His supreme cat-like reflexes when identifying cut-back lanes is truly special at this juncture of his very young career & Symalla is capable of producing positive yardage plays when all seems lost as his dynamic style of running is the best I have witnessed on tape since evaluating Christian McCaffrey at Valor Christian HS in my former home of Colorado. After initial contact, Ruldoph does an excellent job at keeping his legs churning to utilize his powerful lower body to pick up tough yards after contact and is deceptively elusive when maneuvering through the opposing defense.
