2025 QUARTERBACK COMMITS
2025 Syracuse QB Commit Luke Carney
The Syracuse Orangemen have amassed a slew of major commitments offensively that will give top 2025 QB recruit Luke Carney the weaponry needed to light up the scoreboard week in and week out. Carney is a dynamic play-maker at the quarterback position and a proven winner who boasts a 39 & 3 record (3x State Champion) at Dallas Christian as well as over 10,000 career yards through his junior campaign. This past season, Carney miraculously amassed over 3,723 yards passing while proving to be one of the most accurate passers in the 2025 football recruiting class. Carney is capable of fitting the ball into very tightly knit windows in the defensive secondary with extreme precision as well as with stellar velocity. Since evaluating Carney since his Freshman year, he has grown immensely in his ability to quickly dissect a defense when working through his progression & is masterful at aligning himself with his intended targets when throwing on the run. Luke has a very similar style of quarterback play as top 2021 QB recruit & NFL Draft prospect J.J. McCarthy, who was rated as the number one quarterback in the 2021 recruiting class by College Football Now and is projected to go in the top 10 of this year’s 2024 NFL Draft. After examining more of the Orangemen’s 2025 commitments & the talent they have already amassed in prior recruiting classes, Carney will be well suited with ample weaponry offensively and have an opportunity to position himself extremely well as a top tier NFL Draft QB prospect in the coming years!
2025 PURDUE QB COMMIT SAWYER ANDERSON
2025 Purdue QB commit Sawyer Anderson has had a magnificent career at Parish Episcopal HS in Dallas, Texas & has many similarities to former Pinson HS, AL quarterback Bo Nix. Both Anderson & Nix are capable of taking a game over with their arm or legs and have proven to have the gritty style of leadership needed to excel on whatever gridiron they choose. Sawyer also is a proven winner who is one of the best at dropping Dilfer dimes over the top of the defense with outstanding overall touch & precision. Sawyer has a very quick release & his receivers rarely have to break stride when hauling in receptions, as Anderson throws one of the most catch-able balls in the 2025 recruiting class. Sawyer is capable of making off-platform throws on the run and does an excellent job at aligning his body to his intended target to produce one the best thrown balls nationally. Sawyer also has been a proven winner with his electrifying dual-threat style of play as he proves to have the capabilities to torch an opposing defense with his diverse skill-set. Hats off to yet another state champion from the great state of Texas as Anderson has the capabilities to light up the scoreboard in the Boilermakers pass heavy offense, much like Aiden O’Connell or Drew Brees did during their time at Purdue.
2025 GEORGIA TECH QB COMMIT GRADY ADAMSON
2025 Georgia Tech QB commit Grady Adamson was flying under the radar early in the recruiting process & through dedication, talent and adept coaching Adamson has positioned himself into one of the top QB recruits in the 2025 recruiting class. Last season, Grady hurled the pigskin for 2,565 yards & 28 TD’s, while rushing for 577 yards & 7 TD’s as he has many similarities to Western Kentucky NFL Draft QB prospect Austin Reed who was a 0 star recruit coming out of high school. Both quarterbacks are very structurally sound when creating their platform or base to generate the torque needed to generate maximum velocity & accuracy on their passes. Much like Austin, Grady is capable of creating more time in the pocket to shift the defense out of alignment to create plays down the field and can provide the touch needed to get the ball up & down into very tight spaces. Adamson is also outstanding at generating enough torque to complete difficult passes back across his body and from alternate arm angles, which will pay off in huge dividends when at the helm of the Georgia Tech offense. After scouting Grady since the 8th grade, I am extremely excited to watch him take the gridiron and light up the scoreboard in the ACC!
